Holidays!

Let's welcome the arrival of the long awaited holidays! :) Even though it's one week, and one week passes by really quickly, IT'S STILL A HOLIDAY!

But actually if you're taking your O/n levels, holidays = study.

But who cares? I have not studied since last Thursday, if you don't include 12 emath questions =)

I think I should study soon but I'm very very tired. I am tired because my friend woke up at 7.30am and smsed me to ask if I was awake. And of course, I got awakened by the sms -.- At least he was apologetic about it, even though he does that EVERY SINGLE DAY, even on a school day. I guess that should explain why I've been fairly early. Well at least earlier than usual. I don't know why he wakes up so early! I'm guessing he loves the cool morning breeze

Anyway I think I will be sleeping because later I have adult elementary ballet At Cheng Ballet, hopefully taught by Yaling Laoshi. Last week's class was taught by some other lady. I am happy because I made friends! Even though they are all adults! But hahaha so awkward still.

Tomorrow I'm finally gonna trim my horrid grass-looking hair which i have kept long hitherto. I think I'm gonna do some treatment thingy too! So I think it will take very long, probably till mid afternoon. Morever,I may be attending Youth Ballet tomorrow at Cheng. Both the Laoshis said I could attend youth ballet, but I have been too lazy to attend. I should stop being lazy!

Well in any case, tomorrow will be another day wasted! There will only be Thursday and Friday remaining and I intend to slot in a study session with my classmates and some nonsense with a very good friend. Even if it is nonsense, I still miss my friend because it's my friend duh!

I think my posts are uncannily different from the way I usually type, I prefer it this way =) Or maybe I might alternate ways. Or do whatever I feel like.

Anyway, poor serene is down with the CHICKEN POX :( I hope she gets well soon! I love you Serene! More than the other Neo =)

I'm still contemplating between studying and sleeping. I should study because I know I did badly for prelims, and to make it worse, I was sick on my amaths and physics papers - - At the same time I want to sleep so that I can be REJUVENATED and ENERGIZED for ballet later. After all I think I have mentioned that I do not intend to go to a JC. So, my Olevel results do not holf much importance for me.

If you follow me carefully on twitter, I need to get a holiday job to pay for all my ballet lessons. Pshhhhhh. One way to increase my chances of getting a job is working there as long as possible. So perhaps I'll just got to Lasalle or Nafa straight. I think my parents will not be very happy about it. Ironically, they are the ones who wanted to me to get a job, so it's their loss. Plus, I think I've wasted 10 years of my life, I should have gone to like Sota or attended Cheng or switched ballet schools earlier. I'm not gonna waste a few months in a JC.

Anyway, my whole ballet class seems to have found out about my departure, but they are nice about it =) Apparentley, one of them even saw me at Cheng. No idea how??? Although i feel really bad for my group, there's only 2 pathetic people left. Fortunately, the grade8 exam does not require any partnering =)

Anddddd. I won't be taking the grade8 exam. Many people are shocked especially since I scored relatively high for my grade7. I think what I need right now is to concentrate on improving my technique, my performance... Not on the exams. Futhermore, I think the certificate will not get me very far. True, it may look nice in my portfolio, especially if I score really high again. But... There are numerous and countless number of people who have done the grade8 and are not very good. I have living examples right in front of me, of course it's not polite to say who. I also know of people who have taken their advance levels and are still... Not good.

On the other hand, there are people who are lovely ballerinas even though they have not taken ANY form of exam. One example would be ebird! Somehow I never expected her ballet to improve drastically, not forgetting the fact that she is a trained Chinese dancer, but oh well, she studied at Lasalle for a year. But still very good, to the extent that she has surpassed me (not that i'm very good, but yeah you get what I mean) (Let me redeem myself by saying that I have took a long break too due to my studies XD)

So, are certificates important? Yes, but to a very slight extent. Of course, that is based on my humble opinion, your views may differ.
