My first pointe class in months!!!

Yes seriously I think months! The last time I attended a class en pointe was before my mid years I think. Then again I have really bad memory so I'm not sure at all.

Today's Youth Ballet II class was to me, really hard. I think it is because I have never been trained to do a full class en pointe. But I have did a full pointe class once, for the SDT audition and it was pretty hard. Because I did a full pointe class once, I was both mentally and physically prepared.

Thank God my Serenades were fairly new, because Serenades break in rather fast. (My shoes did feel a tad softer after class).

Frappes, grand battements, adashe, etc etc etc all en pointe. It was not painful, it was just really really tiring. And pointework really slows down my footwork. Horrid horrid horrid.

Then.. there was this particular exercise: chaine, and plie en pointe on one leg while extending the other. AND I COULDNT DO IT! There was this girl who was dancing with me, her name is Sarah (and I think she's gonna be a legend, hahaha) and she's younger then me and she was just chaine, plie en pointe, like as if she was born to do it omg -.-

Have I also not mentioned, but I think the people in my class are mostly younger than me, and they are much better. I wish I was like them.... *Starstruck face*

Got to work hard... I think I'm not even working hard now... I'll work doubly hard after Os ahhh really I will I will. I must push myself and improve so drastically and prove to all the people in SylviaM that switching over to Cheng was a right decision that I made.

AND ELVINA HAS MY BALLET CERTIFICATE!!!! I'M SO HAPPY! I got 10 for everything except for Character Enchainmet, which I received an 8. I never really like character work anyway -.-

I just realised school is starting pretty soon and we end at 4pm almost everyday. Except for Monday which is slightly earlier but I promised Carissa that I'm going out with her because I missed her. And I missed her breakfast on her birthday because I fell sick :( But I feel so mean for going out with her because her EOYs are starting in a week (or 2??) but I'll make up for it by helping her with her studies. OMG I AM SO KIND RIGHT =)

And because EOYs are coming that also means no CCA -.- Just when I was looking forward to attend CCA. I miss Xu laoshi and he was quite horrified when he found out that I attended Cheng Ballet. Hahaha.

I think I wanna get new shoes from the Cheng Ballet shop! But I got 2 more pairs of unused Serenades T_T I bought my seranades in bulk because I thought I would survive on Serenades forever, since singapore only sells Sansha (those here have atrocious quality), Bloch Serenade and Bloch Suprima. Now the Cheng Ballet shop has Freed and Bloch Heritage and I think many many many more. But first must get rid of my unused Serenades D: The only people whom I know are sized 3D are Laura and Samantha, but Samantha uses Suprima, and I don't think I'll be meeting Laura T_T

I also forgot to add that Borders does not sell Dancing Times; my favourite Alina Cojocaru is on the cover of the September 2009 issue!

Yesterday I also walked around the whole Orchard with Joel The Fusspot and I FORGOT TO GO BORDERS AND PURCHASE A BALLET BOOK. Ballet books are expensive but I never get bored of them. Maybe I'll just buy Harry Potter to entertain myself. Lol.

I can't wait for church tomorrow because Nicklaus baked cookies! And his cookies are delicious! =) HAHAHHAA not forgetting that me and nats are gonna study tomorrow and Nicklaus and myself can laugh at Nats addiction to TAP TAP REVENGE.
