Odile variation
I see 2 different Odile variations in the black swan pas de deux!!!
The usual, with the pirouettes at the beginning. Marius Petipa variation
And the not so usual, Yury Grigorovich variation. (start at 1.47)
However, the adagio, Prince Siegfried variation and coda are still the same, I wonder why the Odile variation is different.
Personally prefer the Grigorovich variation because I think the music is more suitable? It gives me the eerie feel, and also seems somewhat hard-to-get (like of Odile) because of the different temperaments of the music, so it kinda matches the mood of this grand pas de deux. But it's seldom performed.
Btw both Odiles are my favourite Polina Semionova :D
